Biography
Dr. Gabriel Masfa is a Senior Lecturer in Church History and Systematic Theology. He teaches and researches in the areas of church history and Adventist Studies at the Adventist University of Africa, Nairobi, Kenya. He is the author of Seventh-day Adventism in Africa: A Historical Survey of the Interaction Between Religion, Traditions, and Culture (Routledge, 2023), Seventh-day Adventist Historiography: An Introduction (Peter Lang, 2021) and is preparing a two-volume work on Seventh-day Adventists in Africa (forthcoming, Routledge), and “Ellen G. White: Examining Her Contribution and Influence on Seventh-day Adventism in Africa” (forthcoming, Babcock University Press). He has also published several articles in premier journals. He is married to Abigail Masfa.
