Biography
Dr. Dennis Matekenya has served as a church pastor, conference departmental director, union conference departmental director, head of the Family Planning, HIV, and AIDS Unit of Adventist Health Services, Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Malawi Adventist University, and country director for ADRA Malawi. He also served as the executive director for the Network of Organisations for Vulnerable and Orphaned Children (NOVOC), program manager, and corporate planning specialist for Plan Malawi, as well as managing director of Process Management Consultants. Currently, he is a faculty member in the School of Postgraduate Studies at the Adventist University of Africa (AUA).
Dr. Matekenya is Malawian. He and his wife, Orpha, have three sons—Dennis Jr., John, and Rei—and they have one adopted daughter, Orpha.
