Master of Arts in Biblical & Theological Studies

The Master of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies (MABTS) has been designed to assist theologians, pastors and other ministry workers in developing expertise in Scripture, theology, and church history. With the challenges of local and global changes and transformations on the continent, ministry in all its areas now requires specialized training.

The programme offers three majors, namely Biblical Studies, Biblical Languages and Theological-Historical Studies. The three majors reflect the areas of significant importance in the ministry to the Christian Church. Each area represents unique challenges that require specialized knowledge, skills and attitudes.

The Masters in Biblical and Theological Studies (MABTS) programme is designed to provide needed preparation for a more effective frontline ministry and teaching of religion courses in schools and colleges.
