AUA University Anthem

The Adventist University of Africa Anthem

by Enslin Baxen and Siti Magesa

Help us, Lord, to use our education,
To daily grow in dedication.
Our purposes reach beyond the sky,
We daily lift God's name high.

AUA gives praise to God today.
Keep us loyal and faithful we pray.
As we learn from what our mentors say,
To hasten the coming of the Lord.

On this lovely Hill of God's creation,
He is the Rock, our strong foundation.
Each heart is bound as we excel,
In love and service, we dwell.

We commit to lead with excellency,
To inspire others with this legacy.
So that by our lives transform history,
United t'wards eternity.

African Adventist Heritage Museum

The African Adventist Heritage Museum in the Adventist University of Africa was officially opened and dedicated on 17th July 2017.

The museum beautifully documents different aspects of African and Adventist history in Africa with the intentions of:

  • Documentation
  • Education
  • Inspiration
  • Motivation

“The past history of the cause of God needs often to be brought before the people, young and old, that they may be familiar with it. How frequently were the waymarks set up by the Lord in His dealing with ancient Israel, lest they should forget the history of the past” (Letter 33, 1890)

“In reviewing our past history, having traveled over every step of advance to our present standing, I can say, Praise God! As I see what God has wrought, I am filled with astonishment, and with confidence in Christ as leader. We have nothing to fear for the future, except as we shall forget the way the Lord has led us, and His teaching in our past history.” (Christian Experience and Teachings of Ellen G. White, p. 204)

The Museum richly presents and highlights:

  1. Seventh-day Adventist History
  2. African History
  3. African facts and cultural aspects
  4. Maasai culture
  5. Spreading the Gospel
  6. Interactive area
  7. Mission Theatre

The Museum is open to the public on:

Tuesdays 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Thursdays 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The adjacent Gift Shop provides for various African artefacts and souvenirs.

Complimentary to the Museum is the African SDA History website. Click on the image below to visit the website.

Strategic Development Partners

The Strategic Development Partners (SDP) are individuals who have committed to the growth and development of the Adventist University of Africa (AUA). These individuals are ambassadors of the University who have goodwill and aspire for the realization of AUA’s Vision and Mission.

The University appreciates the sacrificial efforts of the SDP members towards the construction of the Multipurpose Complex which was opened in November 2019.
