  1. Evangelism and Church Growth (Urban Ministry emphasis): Helderberg College, Cape Town, South from January 15-March 16, 2018.
  2. Youth and Young Adult Ministry: Babcock University, Lagos, Nigeria from May 9-July 21, 2018.
  3. Discipleship and Biblical Spirituality: AUA Main Campus, Nairobi, Kenya from June 20-August 28, 2018.

  School of Postgraduate Studies 

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) 

The program is still open for applications for 2018 Admissions. Classes are scheduled to begin on Monday, March 12, 2018 through Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at the Adventist University of Africa Main Campus, Nairobi, Kenya. Non-Business bachelor degree holders can be admitted into the MBA programme but will be required to take some foundation/prerequisite courses. The program’s first session is scheduled to run from September 4, 2017and will end November 30, 2017.   •  Master of Arts in Leadership

New cohorts are tentatively scheduled to begin in 2018. The programme is scheduled to run its first session from January 20, 2018 to March 25, 2018 at Solusi campus, Bulawayo, Zimbabwe and from May 7, 2018 to July 4, 2018 at Babcock University, Lagos, Nigeria. All applications should be forwarded to the Office of the Registrar ( This email address is being protected from spambots.   •  PhD in Leadership 

A new cohort is tentatively scheduled to begin in 2018. The programme is open for Applications.
The programme is scheduled to run its first session from September 9, 2018 to October 8, 2018 at the Adventist University of Africa Main Campus, Nairobi, Kenya. All applications should be forwarded to the Office of the Registrar ( This email address is being protected from spambots. AUA is using the cohort system. That is, the group that is accepted for the first cycle is expected to continue together, through until the end of the programme.Students financially sponsored by their employers have priority of admission; however, all students must submit a recommendation from their employing organizationNew programmes may be added before the end of the cycle, thus, communication with the Admissions office is indispensable before sending an application.

AUA is open to all qualified applicants irrespective of colour, race, ethnic identity, religion, gender or national origin. Potential students may apply to any of the current programmes at any time and be admitted subject to fulfilling in the AUA Application form and meeting all admission requirements.

Each programme has its unique requirements for admission. However, the following are general requirements for entry into any of the university's academic programmes:
Applicants to the master’s programmes must have a first degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 3.0-grade point average (on a 4.0 point scale) or its equivalent. For practical programmes, applicants must have a minimum of 2.5-grade point average (on a 4.0 point scale) or its equivalent.In addition to this minimum grade point average required from practical degree programmes applicants, 4 years of relevant professional experience is recommended and preferred for admission. However, direct entrants may be admitted without 4 years of field or professional experience if they have a minimum of 3.0-grade point average or equivalent and fulfil other admission requirements.
Applicants are also expected to submit recommendation letters from the previous university and employing organisations where applicable.Non-English speaking students will be required to demonstrate their ability to study in English by meeting EITHER of the following:(a) A passing score on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)(b) A passing score on the British Council English language test (International English Language Test)(c) An English proficiency certification from a recognized university
