VICE-CHANCELLOR’S WELCOME

Greetings students, friends and supporters of AUA:

Seldom does one have the opportunity to be at the beginning of a bold experiment and a pioneering breakthrough. You are so blessed if you have the privilege of being a part of AUA at this juncture in its history.
This bulletin is released during the tenth anniversary year since the founding of AUA. Praise God for His blessings to this point. Special appreciation and affirmation are given to the persons of Dr. Brempong and Mrs. Mabel Owusu-Antwi, the founding Vice-Chancellor and First Lady of the Adventist University of Africa (see the Dedication page), and those who served with them.
Being a student at AUA is both a privilege and a responsibility. It is a privilege in that you can matriculate at a one-of-a-kind, quality educational institution established by the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. The purpose of AUA is to produce outstanding, graduates, men and women, who will serve Africa and the whole world with education, excellence and eternity in view.
Attending AUA also entails a responsibility to be men and women of dignity, competence and Christ-likeness who are prepared to change the world for good. This grand outcome is achieved through the composition of a unique educational blend as described in the pages of this bulletin. This bulletin can describe it, but only you can experience AUA difference.
Remember behind these pages are people who will love you and lead you to be all you can be under Christ for the glory of God. Come, be blessed, equipped to serve, and be the best you can be.

Grace and peace to you,

Delbert W. Baker, PhD
Vice-Chancellor
